Our school has a theme-based curriculum that fosters a hands-on approach to learning and encourages our children to be just that. Children.
Our VPK program works one-on-one with children to ensure that their educational needs are met to prepare them for their academic future.
We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Our teachers and staff are committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results.
The goal of Romper Room is to produce happy, intelligent, well-adjusted children. Here you will find a nurturing, educational environment for children of ages 2 years to 5 years.
We offer full time childcare and have a drop-in service for ages up to 8 years old. We have an open door policy for our parents to accommodate various schedules.

Frequently asked questions
Q: My child has never been in Preschool before. Can I gradually start my child at Romper Room Preschool?
A: Yes, at Romper Room Preschool, we understand that transitioning to a preschool environment for the first time can be a significant step for both children and parents. We offer a tailored approach to help your child gradually acclimate to our preschool setting. Our Drop-in Program allows your child to start with shorter, flexible hours and progressively increase their time at the preschool at a comfortable pace. This approach helps to ensure that your child feels secure and confident as they adjust to a new routine, interact with peers, and participate in various activities. Our experienced and compassionate staff are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible, providing personalized attention to meet the unique needs of each child. If you would like more information on our Drop-in Program or to discuss a customized schedule for your child, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Q: What is Romper Room Preschool's policy on potty training?
A: At Romper Room Preschool, we understand that children develop at different times for potty training. Our program is designed to accommodate each child’s unique developmental timeline. We do not require children to be fully potty trained before they enroll. Instead, our experienced staff works closely with parents to support each child's progress, offering gentle encouragement and reinforcement as needed. Our goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment that fosters independence and confidence in all of our students. If you have any specific concerns or need further assistance, please feel free to discuss them with our teachers.
Q: My child doesn't speak yet. Do you accept children with developmental delays at Romper Room Preschool?
A: Yes, Romper Room Preschool warmly welcomes children with developmental delays, including those who are not yet speaking. Our inclusive environment is designed to support the diverse needs of all children. We have trained staff who are experienced in working with children with various developmental needs, ensuring that each child receives the personalized attention and support they require. Our classrooms are adaptable and focus on fostering growth and development at each child's unique pace. If you have any concerns or specific requirements for your child, please feel free to discuss them with us so we can create the best possible learning experience for your little one.
Q: Is it mandatory for my child to be enrolled in Romper Room Preschool's meal program?
A: Yes, all parents must enroll their children in Romper Room Preschool's meal program. However, enrolling in the program does not obligate your child to eat the food we serve. You have the option to pack meals for your child if you prefer. This policy ensures that all children have access to nutritional meals throughout the day, whether provided by the preschool or brought from home. Our primary concern is the health and well-being of your child, and this enrollment helps us better coordinate and manage meal times effectively.
Q: Do I still have to pay if my child is absent?
A: At Romper Room Preschool, we understand that children may occasionally be absent due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances. However, to ensure the quality and consistency of our services, tuition fees are required to be paid regardless of absences. This policy allows us to maintain our high standards of education and care, uphold staff commitments, and manage operational costs effectively. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as it helps us provide the best possible environment for all our little learners!
Q: Is there a lot of staff turnover at Romper Room Preschool?
A: At Romper Room Preschool, we take great pride in fostering a stable and nurturing environment for both our students and staff. We understand that consistent caregivers play a vital role in the development and emotional well-being of young children. Therefore, we prioritize hiring dedicated and passionate educators who align with our values and mission. Our staff turnover rate is notably low compared to industry standards, ensuring that your child will build strong, lasting relationships with caregivers. This stability not only benefits the children's growth but also provides peace of mind to parents, knowing that familiar, trustworthy faces are guiding their child's early education journey.
